The Rpi_1_A_8GB_RFExplorer_IoT_2017_01_23.zip contains a 15Gbytes IMG file.

You would need 16Gb microSD card - not 8GB micro SD card.

We just tested and confirmed it works ok. It is a ZIP file not a rar file, and is correctly decompressed. Perhaps you got a connection break and it was not fully downloaded, try again. If the problem persist, please contact us.

It seems that the USB driver from silicon labs (6.7) is not compatible with the current version of Windows 10. I keep running into an error on multiple devices stating that the install wizard cannot find any compatible software with my devices. But it does work on one of my Windows 8.1 laptops.

The driver 6.7.5 is actually compatible with Win10 and has been tested and installed.

Which specific version of Windows 10 are you using?

Hi!
I am trying to install the RF signal generator, but when I am updating the firmware, the program isn't running and when I open it, the device appears disconnected.

It isn't working with my laptop: windows 10 Pro.

Should it be work on that version?
Should I change the laptop right?

Many thanks!

Elena

Hi Elena,

Please make sure you follow instructions as per www.rf-explorer.com/upgrade

It works perfectly in Windows 10 Pro as long as USB drivers were installed. More details at www.rf-explorer.com/usb

Hi,
I have an RF Explorer and am looking for the v1.23 firmware installation package for MacOS. The online links lead to the v1.20 package, but I can't find the v1.23 for Mac. Thanks for the assistance.

Hi, thanks for your feedback.
The v1.23 was not released to MacOS users because Vantage is not compatible with it. But we will soon release v1.25, stay tuned.

Hi
I can't get the Raspbian image to download as well. The other user was right. None of the versions (1,2 or3) will complete the download. I have a very fast connection and it dripped down at about 2kbit/sec and would not complete.

There seems to be some bugs in the new preset system. Also maybe add a way to select a default preset to load on startup.
